Jason Robbins is a Founding Member and Managing Partner at Millstream. At Millstream Partners, Jason has completed over $1 billion in real estate acquisitions and development across multi-family, affordable housing, student housing, and industrial asset classes, including the formation of one of the country’s first qualified opportunity zone funds.
Prior to founding Millstream Partners along with fellow co-founder Greg Nelson, Jason was a founder and managing partner at Woodbury Strategic Partners and Dakota Pacific Real Estate Partners. Jason has an extensive background in leveraged finance, investment structuring, and private equity fund operations. Prior to his real estate experience, Jason worked at Golub Capital in New York, a leading national provider of debt financing to middle-market companies with +$30B of AUM. Jason received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah, where he was a member of the University Venture Fund.
Greg Nelson is a Founding Member and Managing Partner at Millstream Partners, and focuses on the firm’s acquisition, development, financing, legal and project management efforts across multi-family, affordable housing, student housing and industrial asset classes. Greg has a deep knowledge of qualified opportunity zones and has completed opportunity zone investments in 12 different states.
Prior to founding Millstream Partners with fellow co-founder Jason Robbins, Greg was a senior executive at several e-Commerce retailers and a Partner at Parr Brown Gee & Loveless, a leading real estate and corporate law firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Greg received a J.D. from Northwestern University and a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University.
Prior to joining Millstream Partners, Spencer was an Audit Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in both New York City and Salt Lake City. He provided audit services to asset management and banking clients, including private equity funds, alternative investment funds, hedge funds and international investment banks. Spencer has deep experience in US GAAP financial reporting, control environments, investment valuations and business intelligence technologies in storytelling, data analysis and RPA.
Spencer is a Certified Public Accountant; he holds a B.S degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University Idaho and a M.S degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
